Hi everyone!
As promised I put together, in this blog post, my last two weeks spent in quarantine. I’ve made a rough plan of things you can expect during this time, what the hotel provided us with, the activities, and all in all my experience as a whole.

Activities All activities were taking place by the poolside, which meant anyone with a side sea view (the room type I had) and a sea view couldn't join in. Such activities included music, bingo, workout classes, and a DJ.
Temperature check During my stay I had my temperature tested every couple of days by a nurse.
Alpha Mega
Thank you Alpha Mega for providing us with a parcel, which included cleaning
products, self care products, and some snacks.
Thin Hotel Walls It's unfortunate that the walls are really thin in this hotel. I was able to hear everyone and everything in the connecting rooms. During an afternoon, I had the pleasure of hearing the person I share a connecting door with pass wind, sneeze and share conversations with his family. To my left I had a gentlemen exercising with a skipping rope on his balcony which kept hitting the balcony rail as well as the person above me having a party for one and blasting music. Not only that, as majority of people staying here are students and have friends staying in near by rooms, there were plenty of them chilling on their balconies and having conversations with one another extremely loud as well as asking if anyone wants to order a “Frappe” from room service. In addition, there were people wondering in the corridors and having conversations with people which was a joke as we're all meant to be social distancing. I can say with the internet being extremely bad and all that’s gone on during my stay I am looking forward to going home.
Covid-19 results A week in and I had finally got a text confirming that my test came back negative!
Food
On the first day I wasn’t informed when the meals were being delivered to my door, and as a result the meals ended up getting cold, as they never knocked. After a few
phone calls with reception to establish the time that each meal would arrive at my door
we agreed that they would knock to alert us that the food was there.
On my forth day, I was very upset to have been sent raw chicken for my meal twice this day, even after complaining they didn’t seem to take it too seriously! To my surprise,
on day 9 I was delivered Raw chicken once again! At this point I was getting frustrated
with them, as they couldn’t take peoples health seriously when I complained again,
they informed me that they received quite a few complaints (this made me wonder
why they would serve the chicken in the first place?). As a result I asked for a sandwich instead, and informed them that whenever they’ll be serving chicken I won’t be having it. Since I made that request, they have taken my complaints in to consideration, and
they have been sending good meals ever since. On another note, something they did a couple of times during these two weeks was come by our rooms with a trolly of things that we may have run out of such as water,
milk, chocolate milk, yogurt, juices etc.
House keeping We received extra sheets and towels. We had to place any rubbish that we had outside our door for them to collect. If you needed anything extra or had run out of any essentials, you could ask reception for a replacement. It was also up to us to keep the room clean (for me it was a bit hard as the construction site caused a lot of dust, which stopped me from spending time on the balcony).
Check out process
They did not have much information on this up until the day before departure, and still then we were just told to be ready to vacate the room between 8am and midday. On
the departure day, we were expecting a call from reception to inform us when we were allowed to vacate the room and make our way downstairs to the coach, which would
then drop us off at our house.
That concludes my two weeks spent in quarantine. Don’t forget to change your address on the website once your back home. Stay safe everyone!
